- 1/2 cup hung curd
- 2 tablespoon tomato puree
- 2 teaspoon biryani masala
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon kashmiri lal mirch powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 lemon juice
- To taste salt
Instructions to make to make Dum Biryani
- Heat a heavy bottom pan with 1 table spoon oil. Add sliced onion and fry with salt turmeric powder till it become golden brown and keep aside.
- Marinate the chicken with mixing all the marinate ingredient including fried onion 1 table spoon oil also. and keep in refrigerator for minimun one hour.

- In a same pan add 1 table spoon oil. Add one part of whole garam masala and let it splutter. Add marinated chicken and cook for 5 -10 min on high flame.
- Take another pan with water and let it boil. Add 1/2 hour soaked basmati rice salt, few drops of oil and rest part of whole garam masala. Cook for 5 min and drain it.
- Now add the rice as a layer over the chicken. Add ghee and rest part of fried onion milk soaked safron and cover the pan with dough. Cook for 30 min on a medium flame.
- Dum biryani is ready garnish with splitted green chilli and boiled egg.
